HANO SOCIAL INNOVATION HUB

Hano Social Innovation Hub (HSIH) was established by Hano Academy in 2016 to provide a clear pre-incubation program to support potential entrepreneurs define their business ideas and develop their business plans to the point where they can be evaluated as profitable enterprises. To us, no idea is too big or too small to accomplish. Thus, we support entrepreneurs from all walks of life including youth, women, IDPs, refugee returnees, and university graduates to test their innovativeness and ability to bring ideas into reality.

We believe that Somalia has many potential youths with the ability to provide solutions through entrepreneurship. However, many circumstances derail their efforts in succeeding in their business plans. Thus, HSIB offers a platform for research, design thinking, brainstorming and prototyping of most viable ideas. As part of this initiative, we partnered with local and international entrepreneurship experts and local banks to support the entrepreneurs.
